We all experience temptations, tribulations, and suffering. None of us is exempt. Brokenness is an ingredient of life.
As part of our formation, our human clay is spun, shaped, and molded into place.
The permanency of our character is forged in the crucible of adversity, hardship, and difficulties. Resulting in a durable but fragile existence.
While these events will help shape who we are, they don’t define us. Despite the challenges, we have a choice. Free will.
We can choose gratitude, grace, forgiveness, and love. For these are the Lord’s way to salvation. Or we can remain in the darkness. Embracing the extreme heat until blistering and brittleness destroys the soul.
Though we are broken and may be suffering, we shouldn’t live our lives as victims. Choose the light, as there is no darkness in the Lord, our Father, but only heavenly light. Grow in His wisdom and glory. Choose the light.
